Fresh graduates in Singapore often grapple with identity consolidation challenges, viewing the transition as a vulnerable period prior to commencing their professional practices. These challenges arise from the uncertainties that come with navigating adulthood.

How can we empower fresh graduates to navigate adulthood confidently and rediscover their identity within a dynamic ecosystem of support? Can immersive travel experiences aid in this journey as they embark on a role-play?

Conducted a comprehensive online survey within our potential target audience shed light on the multifaceted challenges faced by graduates stepping into adulthood, particularly concerning their financial constraints. From the gathered survey findings, we have also researched on the benefits of graduation travel.

The findings underscored a noteworthy trend among working adults; travel became a predominant pursuit during this transformative period, emphasising the importance of personal development and exploration before settling into a stable income source.

Introducing the "Rite Of Passage,” a meticulously designed programme structured to guide fresh graduates through the roles and behaviours of the new life stage they are entering. This experience serves as a compass, assisting them in overcoming the unique challenges encountered during the transition period.

REFLECTION
Working on this project felt deeply personal, so I designed it from a user’s perspective, focusing on how I would use it and ensuring the features work seamlessly and intuitively. This user-centric approach allowed me to create an app that is not only functional but also user-friendly. By putting myself in the users' shoes, I was able to create solutions that address real needs and enhance the overall user experience.
Further refinement
Due to the short timeline, our research faced several limitations such as unable to gather extensive primary data. Hence, my team leveraged on existing data and secondary research to gather our findings and used this to our advantage in achieving the project's outcome. If given the time, it would be good to conduct more surveys and interviews with potential users to gather richer, first-hand data. This will provide deeper insights into user behaviour, preferences, and travel habits.
